Daniel Miller, President of the Texas Nationalist Movement, has issued the following statement regarding the election results in Texas.
Last night, Donald Trump won the presidency. While many Texans are hopeful about what this victory means for our future, the sobering reality remains – the fundamental problems with the federal system persist. The $34 trillion in federal debt still looms, illegal immigration continues unabated, federal overregulation still strangles Texas businesses and families, and inflation continues to eat away at our savings.
When Trump won in 2016, pundits and armchair quarterbacks predicted the demise of our movement. Instead, the TNM nearly doubled in registered supporters as Texans witnessed firsthand how immune the federal system is to meaningful reform.
Our mission remains unchanged: to secure and protect the political, cultural, and economic independence of the nation of Texas and to restore and protect a constitutional Republic and the inherent rights of the people of Texas. Tomorrow we continue the work that began 19 years ago this month to move Texas toward full self-government and independence.
For those who think our work is somehow less urgent now – remember this: 2.5 million unelected federal bureaucrats were not on the ballot last night. Any attempts by the new administration to curb their power and agenda of centralization will face even fiercer resistance than before. The federal machinery remains firmly in place.
In fact, Texans must work even harder now to prepare for independence. We’re sending more Texas First Pledge signers to the next legislative session than ever before. This is our moment to push for the most ambitious pro-Texas, pro-independence agenda in our history. But make no mistake – the political elite, the Washington establishment, and their willing accomplices here in Texas will mount a full-scale assault to stop us.
Meanwhile, the opposition is already gathering strength, biding their time to retake the reins of federal power. Their inevitable obstruction of the new administration will create one crisis after another. But these actions will only serve to remind Texans that it’s the federal system itself that’s broken – not just who sits behind the desk in the Oval Office. The system is fundamentally unredeemable.
Our mission remains clear, our momentum is strong, and our progress is undeniable. With expanding county organizations, growing media coverage reaching hundreds of millions, and more Texas First Pledge signers heading to the Legislature than ever before, we’re closer than ever to our goal. I encourage all Texans to remain vigilant and maintain our momentum. If you haven’t already, join us at TNM.ME, become a member of the Texas Nationalist Movement, and help us secure and protect a free, independent, and prosperous Texas. Our mission and the path to Texas independence remains unchanged.
“Texas will again lift its head and stand among the nations.” – Sam Houston.
The only difference between the Republicans and the dims is that the Dims stab you in the front. The federal government is still an evil entity that is the enemy of Liberty. Trump is the obvious choice because his policies are what’s best for Texas. But the last 4 years has shown how radical the dims have become. The dims have managed to turn election integrity into a joke for most of the country, and the second the Republicans lose focus, they will take advantage. It’s far easier to destroy something, and all the good work that can be done with Trump in the oval office, can just as quickly be undone in a very short period of time. Biden proved that. Independence is the best possible way to secure our right to self determination.
Right on! TEXIT NOW!!
I have felt the same way all along and still do. Texas will fare much better as an INDEPENDANT NATION. Perhaps conditions are better for us with TRUMP in the Whitehouse. But he is just 1 man in office for 4 years (hopefully). But the Federal Government is still a behemoth out of control.
Now as much as ever we must TEXIT.
I served in the Army under 4 administrations, 90-13. Fought, and bled through 3 tours in Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division. And as such, loyalty means something to me. My reasons for choosing to serve began because I wanted to do my part to protect our country against communism. The stolen 2020 election forced me to reevaluate my loyalties, and for me it all came down to family. People choose to serve for many reasons, but the reason we fight is for family. Not just the family we’re fighting to protect back home, but also the extended family you form when Hell is all around you, and raining down on you. Your brother from another mother… I didn’t turn my back on my country, it turned its back on us. Those of us who swore the oath to protect and defend it. The Federal Government and especially the Dims hate and despise us Vets. they treat us like we’re beneath them, like second class citizens. Then they try to manipulate our support only when it best suits their needs. Most people don’t trust the government, but for those of us who fought for our country, their betrayal against the protectors leaves a permanent wound. I can’t forgive them, ever. I’m not unique. I know other Vets feel the same as me. Texas is my home going back 4 generations. I will be a Soldier until my final breath, but I will never fight again for an unforgiving country. Texas is all I have left.
