The FEW Female Executives of Waco, a prominent local networking group of businesswomen with over a decade of history, received an eye-opening presentation on Texas independence this week that left many attendees “astonished at what they don’t know,” according to Texas Nationalist Movement Chief of Staff Daphne Armour.
Armour delivered the full TEXIT presentation to the group of more than 30 female executives, though many had previously heard her reference Texas independence statistics in passing conversations.
“The room often falls quiet when I deliver these because they are astonished at what they don’t know,” Armour noted following the event.

Several executives approached Armour after the presentation seeking additional information, with many expressing shock at learning about Texas’ financial relationship with the Federal Government.
“When they understand that Texans have an overpayment of 105 to 160 billion dollars a year, their mouths drop open,” Armour reported. “They usually ask for more details and ask how to stop this injustice.”
According to Armour, her answer remains consistent: “Of course, the answer is TEXIT. We have to leave the union. Until this happens, we will continue to have money siphoned out of our pockets.”
The presentation not only highlighted economic arguments for Texas independence but also touched on Texas history. Some attendees admitted they needed to “brush up” on their Texas history and thanked Armour for the reminder of Texas’ unique heritage.
“Others commented that they needed to brush up on their Texas history because they had forgotten what they learned in school and thanked me for reminding them what an awesome place Texas is, and we should be proud!” Armour said.
The FEW Female Executives of Waco regularly hosts speakers to address topics relevant to business and leadership. This marks the first time many in the group have received a comprehensive presentation on the case for Texas independence.
With the enthusiastic response to this presentation, the Texas Nationalist Movement continues its outreach to business and community groups across Texas, building support for the right of Texans to vote on independence.
