TNM Names Security Veteran Dean Ross to Lead Protection Division

The Texas Nationalist Movement announced today the appointment of Dean Ross as Director of Protective Services. Ross, a fifth-generation Texan and Army veteran, steps into the role following the untimely passing of Dan Armour.

“Dean Ross brings a unique combination of military experience, law enforcement background, and proven leadership within TNM to this critical position,” said TNM President Daniel Miller. “His dedication to Texas independence and commitment to protecting our members’ right to advocate for self-government makes him the ideal choice to lead our security operations.”

As Director of Protective Services, Ross will establish and oversee TNM’s comprehensive security strategy, including development of security protocols, crisis management, and coordination of protective measures across all TNM events and operations. His department will be responsible for safeguarding TNM’s infrastructure, personnel, and digital assets while ensuring all security operations align with TNM’s mission of Texas independence.

Ross previously served as TNM’s District Director and most recently as Deputy Director of Protective Services. His military service included five years building relationships with local and county leaders as an Army recruiter. After completing police academy training, he continued his public service as a reserve police officer.

“In this new age of technology, security threats, both digital and physical, are a growing concern for grassroots organizations,” said Ross. “I am dedicated to using my knowledge and experience as the Director of Protective Services to recruit, train, and deploy dedicated volunteers to protect all aspects of the Texas Nationalist Movement and its mission.”

Under Ross’s leadership, the Department of Protective Services will implement comprehensive security measures while developing rapid response protocols for emerging threats. He will work closely with TNM’s executive leadership and other departments to ensure security measures support the organization’s strategic initiatives.

TNM members interested in supporting security initiatives can contact the Department of Protective Services or at TNM.ME.

  1. Good Afternoon Mr Ross: This is very nice to know and we are Thankful To Have You !! Have you considered also becoming a member of the CSPOA ?? Constitutional Sheriffs – I know a good friend Kirk Lanius who was also a former law enforcement officer in Dallas county , and he tried running for the Sheriff , however with all our hard work , he sadly just missed the win in the elections. He is also a former military man. I will try to reach out to him and see if he would be willing to assist our community also. Indeed , one of my other passions in the political realm is National Security, and I also get the report in my e-mail from Sam Faddis , writes articles from AND Magazine. We have a big concern about a ” specific group ” that just keeps building in north texas and their massive expansions out of the M.E., maybe or that particular group . Josephine Tx and hearing about EPIC Ranches also . Kirk is a good man , I don’t know if he is still currently running a chapter for north tx . I will ask him. in the meantime here is the CSPOA website – Sheriff Richard Mack is a servant to the people . @https://cspoa.org 2-15-25
