The Texas Nationalist Movement (TNM) is strengthening its Government Affairs team with the appointment of five dedicated leaders who will play a critical role in advancing the cause of Texas independence within the Texas Legislature and major political parties. These individuals bring years of experience, deep commitment to the mission, and the expertise necessary to push forward legislative and strategic initiatives.
Paul Robie, TNM’s Director of Government Affairs, expressed enthusiasm about the additions, stating, “These are some of the best people we could ask for. They’re committed, they’re experienced, and they’re ready to get to work.”
Meet the New Appointees
John Bolgiano – Legislative Analyst
John Bolgiano steps into the role of Legislative Analyst, bringing a wealth of experience in political advocacy and legislative research. He has spent countless hours combing through thousands of bills filed in the Texas Senate and House, identifying those that align with TNM’s core principles. “John has done an amazing job keeping up with the sheer volume of legislation being filed. It’s truly amazing,” said Robie. A longtime political activist with a strong background in public policy, Bolgiano is well-equipped to provide the research and analysis needed to support TNM’s legislative priorities.
Eric Riddle – Legislative Director
A seasoned advocate for Texas independence, Eric Riddle has been named Legislative Director. Riddle has a strong history of political engagement and a deep understanding of the legislative process. He will lead the team of Legislative Liaisons in developing relationships with lawmakers and pushing forward key legislation. “It is very exciting to have him leading our Legislative Activists,” said Robie. “He’s been a tireless advocate for TEXIT, and we know he’ll bring that same passion and leadership to this role.”
Travis McQueen – Deputy Legislative Director
Travis McQueen, a rising leader within TNM, will be working alongside Eric Riddle as Deputy Legislative Director. McQueen’s energy and determination have been evident in his work with the Texas Liberty Campaign, where he has been instrumental in engaging local communities. “Travis is a young leader with a vigorous belief in Texas independence,” Robie said. “Pairing him with Eric will create a strong team to lead our legislative efforts.”
Susan Williamson – Republican Party Liaison
With over a decade of experience as a Republican County Chair and a lifelong dedication to conservative values, Susan Williamson joins the TNM team as the Republican Party Liaison. Her role will be to foster relationships with Republican leadership across the state, ensuring that TNM’s legislative priorities gain traction within the party. “Susan’s background makes her uniquely qualified for this position,” said Robie. “Her knowledge and connections within the Republican Party will be invaluable to our efforts.”
Steve Ravet – Libertarian Party Liaison
Steve Ravet will serve as the TNM’s Libertarian Party Liaison, bringing years of experience working within the Libertarian Party. His task will be to build relationships with Libertarian leaders and ensure that TEXIT and other TNM initiatives remain a priority within the party’s legislative agenda. “We’re lucky to have Steve,” Robie said. “His experience and understanding of the Libertarian Party will help us advance our mission in a significant way.”
Building Momentum for TEXIT
With these key appointments, TNM is poised to make a substantial impact in the Texas Legislature and among major political parties. The movement continues to gain momentum as Texans increasingly seek alternatives to the status quo.
The new appointees are hitting the ground running, with legislative strategy meetings already underway and plans in place to engage lawmakers and party leadership throughout the upcoming legislative session.
“The fight for Texas independence requires a dedicated, strategic approach,” Robie emphasized. “With this team, we are in a strong position to push forward legislation, build alliances, and make real progress toward our ultimate goal.”
TNM’s Government Affairs team is now stronger than ever, ensuring that the voice of Texans who support independence is heard loud and clear in the halls of power.
