The TEXIT Campaign Plants The TNM Flag In The Panhandle & West Texas

This has been an exciting week for the Texas Nationalist Movement. Daniel Miller, President of TNM, visited four prominent cities in the Texas Panhandle, bringing information and receiving massive support for the TEXIT movement sweeping the state.

Lubbock, Amarillo, Midland, and Abilene turned out to show support for Texas independence. President Miller explained to engaged audiences the ins and outs of the movement while focusing on the current goal. Across the state, volunteers are collecting signatures for a petition to get a referendum on the primary ballot in March of 2022, asking, “Should the State of Texas reassert its status as an independent nation?”

Support for the movement spans all races, occupations, and even political affiliations. The morning of the Abilene meeting, TNM received the results from a YouGov poll showing 66% of southern Republicans, 50% of Independents, and 20% of Democrats support independence. That is encouraging information that energizes supporters and propels the movement into the mainstream. Texas politicians can no longer ignore the will of the people.

Chief of Staff for the Texas Nationalist Movement, Daphne Armour, says “The people in West Texas are as hungry for freedom and independence as others across the state.” Some folks drove more than two hours to hear the message of independence. “We had folks show up in Amarillo from all over, all the way down to Gardendale, near Odessa, and everywhere in between.” Josh Smith, one of the newly appointed District Directors in the panhandle area, was excited to see the turnout. “It was a terrific day for TEXIT, and it was an incredibly sympathetic audience.”

Petition volunteers are blanketing the state, collecting 80k signatures which will guarantee the referendum will be on the ballot next year. With almost half a million active supporters in the Texas Nationalist Movement, volunteers should meet their goals quickly.

That is not to say they will let up, though. Activists are reaching out to every corner of Texas and finding overwhelming support for secession.
