Beto said that he was going to take our guns. He even started selling a shirt to help fund his promise. The TNM responded that we are 1836% sure we wouldn’t be giving them up. Now we have a shirt to help us fund the effort to stop him.

Beto O’Rourke barely had the words out of his mouth in the Democratic Primary debate before his campaign was already selling a t-shirt with his quote to raise money. The backlash from Texans was expected. That backlash included a previously posted social media graphic from the TNM’s President, Daniel Miller, declaring that he wouldn’t be giving up his guns.
“I am 1836% sure that I will not be turning in my guns.”
The statement, a reference to the year that Texas gained its independence, was written across a Gonzales Flag more commonly referred to as the “Come and Take It Flag”.
