Continuing the topic from last weeks article, I wanted to explain a little more about the organizational structure of the Texian Volunteer Corps. I mentioned last week that the TVC is a uniformed public face for TNM. Wearing a uniform to public events accomplishes two main goals. First it makes the TNM TVC Volunteers easily identifiable and creates an esprit-de-corps within the TVC team. Secondary goals are to set apart and give recognition to those TNM members that are going the extra mile.
The TVC is highly organized with a tight chain of command. Being structured and patterned after small military units. TVC teams are able to use their people and resources most efficiently to accomplish the mission of the TNM. The Texian Volunteer Corps exists to support the Texas Nationalist Movement in the achievement of its mission through aggressive & strategic non-violent, legal activities designed to make the most impact.
The command structure is fairly simple and straight forward and consists of the following leadership positions Field Director, Deputy Field Director, Regional Field Director, District Captain, Team Leader and finally Unit Leader. These positions are filled from the rank and file of the TVC by those who have proven leadership and organizational skills.
There is a team in Tyler, and Canton with a third team to be activated in San Antonio next month. Although the official roll out for recruiting to the TVC and taking applications for membership has not been announced, we are very close to a roll out date. If you are the type of person that thrives on a challenge, then contact me at [email protected] and put in the subject line TVC App I will put you contact with the TVC leader over that area.
