He walks through how a bill becomes law in Texas, from filing to committee to the floor, drawing on the movement’s own experience carrying the Texas Independence Referendum Act, and points back to the ground already gained: the bill filed in 2021 and the two independence planks added to the Republican Party of Texas platform in 2022.
