Texas First. Texas Forever.

Speaking to the Citizens for the Constitution

I was invited to speak to the Citizens for the Constitution group in Palestine Tx. last night (10/17/17) about the  mission of the Texas Nationalist Movement.  A little background is in order as to how this invitation came about.

During the 2016 Texas Republican State Convention while running an information booth for the TNM, I had the pleasure of meeting a very nice lady (Mrs. Marion Hicks) who stopped at our booth to ask who we were and for what we were advocating .  As I explained our position on Texas Independence and our quest to place a referendum plank on the Republican platform she showed a lot of enthusiasm and interest for the subject.  We chatted for over an hour and when she left she indicated that she would like for me to speak at her grass roots political group.  Of course I said I would like that very much and thus the invite finally came.

The Citizens for the Constitution is a group made up of Conservative and Libertarian folks who study the constitution of the U.S. and are strict Constitutionalists.  I found myself in the company of like minded folks. One of our supporters, Marc Robinson, also attended the meeting and was discussing with some of the groups members the idea of secession even before my talk.

I opened with an introduction and brief history of the TNM and then moved to our Mission Statement. I then dissected the three legs of our Mission Statement with concrete examples of how we are working to accomplish those goals.  Culturally I mentioned the fight we are engaging in to preserve the Alamo history from the globalist,  Economically I spoke of how we encourage Texan entrepreneurial businesses and how we attempt to connect Texans with Texas businesses through our business directory and Politically I spoke about our need for Political Independence.

Most of the people were were well aware of the abusive and overreaching Federal Government and were very attentive to the solutions the TNM advocates.  I wrapped up the talk and took questions from the audience. Most were  the frequently ask questions we normally get and I answered them.

After the meeting was over, several people thanked me for the information I had presented and the chairman of the group asked if I would come back. Three  filled out  pledge cards and some folks donated and got some t-shirts and bumper stickers.  Overall it was a productive evening and I think we will see some new supporters out of this group.
