The Texas Nationalist Movement has been busy following our plan to advance the political, cultural, and economic independence of Texas. We have seen legislative gains with hundreds of Texas First pledge signers, key sovereignty bills passed or advanced, and steady growth in public support for Texit.
It has also been repeated many times that all roads lead through the legislature. Like Sam Houston positioning his army at San Jacinto, we know the terrain where the decisive battle must be fought. It has become clear that more efforts are needed to shape the legislature the way the voters of Texas have demanded so that we can advance sovereignty and get a Texas independence referendum.
The Challenge Before Us
Here’s the reality we face. Good candidates — the kind who will stand up for Texas instead of bowing down to the political establishment — face a fundamental problem: the need for campaign volunteers. It’s the same challenge that has plagued every grassroots movement since the dawn of representative government.
To help get the right candidates in office, the TNM is launching a solution. Our new program, called Texan Arise, is a call to action for Texans who have not known what they could do to help in the campaign process. We know it can be intimidating and overwhelming for those who know they should help. For many others, they are largely unaware of the campaign volunteer opportunities that exist and what impact they could make.
Think about it this way. You wouldn’t send a cowboy to round up cattle without teaching him how to rope. You wouldn’t ask someone to build a house without showing them how to use the tools. Yet every election cycle, we expect good-hearted Texans to jump into political campaigns without any training whatsoever.
Coming to Your Community
The Texan Arise program is a non-partisan campaign volunteer training workshop. But it’s more than that. It’s our answer to the question we hear constantly: “What can I do to help?”
Here’s what makes this different from other political training programs: we’re bringing these workshops directly to your community. You won’t have to drive hours to some big city convention center or take time off work to attend a distant seminar. We’re coming to a city or town near you because we understand that real change happens at the grassroots level, in local communities where neighbors know neighbors.
These in-person trainings create something you can’t get from an online course or a conference call — real connections between real Texans who are committed to the same cause. When you attend a Texan Arise workshop in your area, you’re not just learning skills. You’re meeting the people who will stand alongside you in the political battles ahead.
More Than Training — A Movement
The workshop starts with fundamentals of elections, political parties, and how to determine which candidates represent your interests — not their own political ambitions or the special interests that fund their campaigns. The workshop also covers the election cycle, the broad set of skills that volunteers can offer to campaigns, and how volunteers can have significant impact without stepping foot out of the house.
That last point bears repeating. You don’t have to be the type who loves knocking on doors or making phone calls to strangers. There are numerous ways to contribute, ranging from data entry to social media management to research. Every campaign needs people who can think, organize, and execute — and that describes most Texans.
Of course, there is a detailed explanation of key campaign activities, methods to address concerns about helping in those activities, and the significance of the final push to get out the vote. We’ll show you how elections are really won and lost in the trenches, not in the television ads.
The Texan Arise Promise
Focusing on the 2026 primary election first, our program aims to recruit and train 1,000 volunteers who commit to the Texan Arise Promise. This promise is a pledge of time and resources to help us reshape the Texas legislature.
Why primaries? Because that’s where the real power lies. That’s where a motivated group of informed voters can retire career politicians and elect representatives who actually represent Texas values. General elections often feel like choosing between the lesser of two evils. Primary elections are where we get to choose the good.
This program has two goals: a legislature that is more likely to meet the needs of the voters — like their demand for a referendum on Texas independence — and it gets TNM volunteers valuable campaign experience that will later be needed to support winning the referendum itself.
These workshops will have a major impact giving volunteers the tools and skills they need to help get a Texas independence referendum and win the referendum!
The Time for Action
If one message has been clear this year, Texans are fed up with politics as usual. I’ve observed your frustration throughout my travels across this great state. You are ready for representatives that represent you, and this is the strongest I have seen people rightfully placing their focus on the primary elections to implement that change. Texan Arise is about giving the knowledge and skills to be effective in that effort.
We’re not asking you to become a political operative. We’re not asking you to abandon your principles or compromise your values. We’re asking you to learn how the system actually works so you can help fix it.
Every successful movement in Texas history started with ordinary people who decided they’d had enough. The settlers at Gonzales didn’t have formal military training when they faced down Santa Anna’s troops, but they had something more important. They had the will to fight for what was right and the determination to learn what they needed to know.
Investing in Victory
Let’s be honest about something that makes a lot of folks uncomfortable. Movements need resources to succeed. The Texian Army needed rifles and ammunition. Every successful political campaign needs funding for materials, venues, and coordination.
Texan Arise workshops require meeting spaces, training materials, and coordination across the state. We need to reach 1,000 volunteers in dozens of counties, train them properly, and equip them with the tools they need to be effective. That doesn’t happen with good intentions alone.
The political establishment has unlimited resources from special interests that profit from the current system. They can afford to train their operatives and fund their machinery. We have something better — we have Texans who believe in our cause enough to invest their own hard-earned dollars in it.
When you support Texan Arise financially, you’re not just donating to a program. You’re investing in the infrastructure that will deliver Texas independence. Every dollar you contribute multiplies into volunteer hours, trained activists, and ultimately, votes for candidates who will give Texans their referendum.
Your Role in Texas History
Texan Arise isn’t just about the next election cycle. It’s about building the infrastructure we’ll need for the long fight ahead. Every volunteer we train today becomes a force multiplier for tomorrow. Every skill we teach becomes a tool in the arsenal of Texas independence.
The political establishment has had decades to perfect its system of control. They have the money, the media connections, and the institutional advantages. But we have something they can’t buy, manipulate, or control — we have the righteous anger of a free people who refuse to be governed by those who despise them.
The choice before us is simple. We can continue to complain about politicians who don’t represent us, or we can roll up our sleeves and elect politicians who do. We can keep hoping that somehow, someway, things will get better on their own — or we can make them better ourselves.
Texan Arise is our declaration that we choose action over apathy, engagement over resignation, and hope over despair. It’s our commitment to taking control of our political destiny, rather than leaving it in the hands of those who have already proven they can’t be trusted with it.
The future of Texas independence doesn’t depend on what happens in Washington. It depends on what happens in Austin. And what happens in Austin depends on what we do right here, right now, in our communities and our counties.
The Bottom Line
We have 1,000 spots available for the first phase of Texan Arise. When those spots are filled, we’ll have the strongest volunteer army that any political movement in Texas has ever assembled. We’ll have 1,000 Texans who know how to identify good candidates, how to support them effectively, and how to help them win.
More importantly, we’ll have 1,000 Texans who understand that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance — and who are prepared to pay that price.
But we need your help to make this vision a reality. If you believe that Texas deserves representatives who actually represent Texas, if you’re ready to see a legislature that will give Texans their vote on independence, then invest in Texan Arise today.
Your contribution at https://donate.tnm.me/arise will fund the workshops, materials, and coordination needed to train the volunteer army that will reshape Texas politics. Every dollar you give today is a dollar invested in Texas independence tomorrow.
The question isn’t whether Texas will eventually be independent. The question is whether you’ll be part of making it happen, or whether you’ll be content to watch from the sidelines while others write the next chapter of our story.
Texan Arise. Because our independence won’t win itself.
