The ever-growing movement for Texas Independence is likely to get a big boost when a new book, TEXIT: Why and How Texas Will Leave the Union, goes on sale April 21st. Written by Texas Nationalist Movement President Daniel Miller, this book discusses the motivations, process, and practicality of Texas extricating itself from the grip of Washington D.C.
Most excitingly, TEXIT is being widely marketed, such as the ad that now appears in the current issue of Texas Monthly, and may well find itself on the New York Times Bestseller List at a time when even the most avid MAGA-types are coming to terms with the reality that there’s no fixing Washington. In fact, interest is already so high, even in pre-order, TEXIT is currently number seven on Amazon.com’s “Best Sellers” list for “Political Party” books, number 1 in its category for new releases. Indeed, the TEXIT movement may be poised to explode like BREXIT and Scottish Nationalism . A critical mass of Texans are beginning to realize that the subject of independence is anything but taboo, and the only realistic solution to ensure their liberty from an oppressive government and its crushing public dept.

In a recent interview on WSVA’s Mike Schikman Show, Daniel Miller characterized the rationale for the growth of the movement, which now has at least 350,000 supporters. “We believe as Texans that we should govern ourselves. We shouldn’t be subjected to 180K pages of federal laws, rules, and regulations administered by 440 separate agencies and 2.5M un-elected bureaucrats. If other states want to do that, that’s fine. But, here in Texas, we feel that the best people to govern Texas are Texans.”
Miller also addressed the assertion that independence is unlikely or implausible. “At the end of WWII you had 54 recognized countries on the globe, and by the end of the 20th century you had 192. This idea of the assertion of self-government and self-determination is really and truly a global trend.”
Miller summed up the important message that the Washington and Austin power-brokers don’t like to talk about:
We have everything that we need to not only survive as an independent nation, but to be a powerhouse on a global stage, except for one thing… and that’s our independence.
Texit: Why and How Texas Will Leave The Union goes on sale April 21st, but is now for pre-order on sites like Amazon.com, available in both physical and digital form with an audio version to follow. It will also be available for purchase at Brick-and-mortar bookstores.
